Getting clinical AI to work inside the US community behavioural-health services that serve the highest-need patients with the fewest resources. The constraints are staffing, funding, and workflow, not the model.
Deploying Mira across community behavioural health
Psyrin · multi-site, United States
Mira is our conversational clinical AI, built with strict clinical guardrails. At Psyrin I lead her deployment into multi-site community behavioural-health organisations in the United States, translating clinical complexity into operational reality: fitting AI to existing intake and documentation workflows, the staff who run them, and the payor constraints they work under. Feedback from the patients and staff who use her has been consistently strong. In July 2026 this work reached state level with the launch of RecoveryRachel, an AI navigation platform built with RecoveryOhio to help Ohioans find mental-health and addiction treatment.
Clinical trials: taking the speech-biomarker method into US studies
Psyrin · ClinicalTrials.gov · United States
I am a Principal Investigator on MINDAIM (NCT06792175), a prospective observational study of speech-based machine-learning assessment and risk stratification in around 500 participants, run in real community behavioural-health settings with Allwell Behavioral Health Services in Ohio and The Brookline Center in Massachusetts. I also support Psyrin's study of speech as a predictor of treatment response to psychiatric interventions (NCT06823024), and the wider research programme including the PRIME relapse-forecasting and CHRONOS-AI studies.
AI-consults field study
Community behavioural health clinics
Before and during rollout I sat in multiple community behavioural-health clinics to see how care is actually delivered and where AI helps versus gets in the way. That fieldwork, watching real intake, documentation, and hand-offs, shapes how we build and where we deploy. At deployment sites I also built and delivered the clinical and staff training that gets Mira into daily use.
Voice biomarker pipeline, voice agents, and the Psyrin website
Psyrin · technical work
I designed Psyrin's early voice-biomarker pipeline and analysis: the path from the schizophrenia-from-speech research to a working product pipeline that underpins the published work. I've kept building since, including voice agents for the business (customer support among them) and the Psyrin website.
Early regulatory groundwork with the FDA
Psyrin · regulatory strategy
I led Psyrin's early regulatory work, including applications to the FDA, before we made the strategic decision to defer the regulatory path until after Mira's release. (Early groundwork and submissions, not a clearance or active filing.)
